Jamie’s love of design happened at an early age growing up on a hobby farm with creative, hard-working parents. Design came so easily to her that she avoided the path as a career thinking it was easy for everyone. She snuck in IKEA catalogues to her science classes but decided medical is where she wanted to land.

After working in medical for 13 years, she started to dig into her creative side by starting a DIY and decorating blog, So Much Better With Age. Over the last 10+ years it has a become popular site and her homes and projects have been featured in many online and 17 print publications such as HGTV Canada, Romantic Homes Magazine, and City TV Vancouver. 

In 2018 a US publisher reached out to her and the DIY book titled French Vintage Decor was born, which is a combination of her love of all things French and all things vintage

She has helped many clients virtually through e-design from all over the world. 

After receiving a diploma in Interior Design, she now focuses on helping clients locally, rather than virtually, by creating homes that are uniquely their own.
